April 27: begins his scholarship trip abroad; goes to Germany, visits Berlin and Dresden. Late May: visits Saxon Switzerland. July 5 - 15: stays in Prague, tours Bohemia. October: takes up residence in Munich. Sends a report of his activities to the Academy, which is approved by the Council of the Academy.
