Completes the picture Oak Grove, continues painting the canvases Oaks and The Sands. May: together with Yevgeny Vishniakov, a well-known master of landscape photography, goes to Vologda province to do plein-air studies. Summer: works from nature in Sestroretsk. Displays his works at the Academy of Arts exhibition, which this time takes place in Ekaterinburg (now Sverdlovsk). Publishes an album of pencil drawings by Olga Lagoda-Shishkina (1879 - 80).
